Lyrics :
You know Dasher and Dancer, and Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen,
But do you recall, the most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose,
And if you ever saw it,
You could even say it glows.
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names;
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games.
Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
Wont you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee,
"Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer,
You'll go down in history.
Comet and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen,
But do you recall, the most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Christmas time in England. The food we eat and about our Christmas traditions.
Perhaps you can tell us about the food you eat and when? Please tell us about your Christmas traditions too.
We spend Christmas Eve with family and or friends. We do not have a special meal but eat things typical at parties or Christmas types of food. Some people just have a nice cooked meal.
On Christmas day - 25th December we eat our special Christmas dinner. Here are some traditional Christmas foods.
We might eat Pate, prawn cocktail or soup as a starter
For the main course we normally eat roast turkey, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, sprouts, carrots, stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy and sausages wrapped in bacon which we call pigs wrapped in blankets.

Father Christmas, Santa, as we also call him, travels on his sleigh, drawn by his reindeer and carries lots of toys and presents in a sack. His reindeer land on the roof and Santa comes down the chimney to get into the house to leave presents. He leaves presents in a stocking and by the fireplace, by the Christmas tree or at the bottom of the childrens' bed.
On Christmas Day the children get up very early to see if 'he has been'. After opening their presents families have a special Christmas lunch or dinner. Families also exchange gifts.
